Where are your soaps and salves made?
Every Green Forest Soap and Salve is handcrafted on the Esh family farm in Paradise, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Amish Country. We make our products in small batches using traditional methods and carefully selected natural ingredients.
What ingredients do you use in your soaps and salves?
Our soaps and salves are made with 100% natural ingredients, including plant-based oils, premium doTERRA® essential oils, beeswax, and herbs—many of which are grown right on our chemical-free family farm. We never use synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, or unnecessary preservatives.
Are your soaps suitable for sensitive skin?
Our soaps are crafted without harsh chemicals or artificial fragrances, making them a gentle choice for many people looking for a more natural cleansing experience. Because every person's skin is unique, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and performing a patch test before first use if you have particularly sensitive skin.
What makes your salves different?
Our herbal salves are made using fresh, live herbs whenever possible, many of which are grown on our family farm. By harvesting and preparing our herbs ourselves, we're able to create small-batch salves with carefully selected natural ingredients and traditional craftsmanship.
Are your products made by an Amish family?
Yes. Green Forest Soaps & Salves is a family-owned Amish business located in Paradise, Pennsylvania. Since 2011, we've been dedicated to creating handcrafted soaps and herbal salves using natural ingredients and time-honored methods.
Do you have a physical store?
We do not have a retail storefront at this time. Our products can be purchased through our online store and shipped throughout the United States. If you're local to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, we also offer farm pickup by arrangement. You can also find a selection of our products in several local Lancaster County retailers.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! We proudly ship our handcrafted soaps and herbal salves throughout the United States, so you can enjoy Green Forest products no matter where you live.
Are your herbs grown on your farm?
Many of the herbs used in our salves are grown right on our chemical-free family farm in Lancaster County. Growing many of our own herbs allows us to oversee their quality from the field to the finished product.
